Farmer Dive Bombed While Trying to Free Owlet Trapped in Equipment

The owlets parents did not appreciate the farmer trying to free their young one.

Matt Sawyer, a farmer from Alberta, Canada had an owlet get stuck in his platform trailer railing. The young owl was probably just learning how to fly when it logged its head in the railing. After realizing the bird would not be able to free itself Matt Sawyer climbed up to free the bird.

The adult owl were keeping an eye on the situation and when the farmer approached the owls started dive bombing him. Owls have large sharp talons so there was an actual risk involved in this rescue. In the end no owls of humans were injured.
