Video: Bear Gets Close Enough to Touch a Bowhunter’s Arrow
This is a close encounter of the Ursidae kind.
Bowhunting doesn’t really get any more intense than this. In this clip from Bear Horizon the bear actually gets close enough that the hunter could have reached out and touched it with his hand. That’s especially scary considering this is a traditional archery hunt and not a firearm hunt. He eventually made the shot and harvested the bear, but things could have been very different.
